I was captivated by the trailer of this movie which I saw on facebook. I literally had an orgasm seeing it. The beautiful landscapes engulfed me in its trance and as I went to get the movie, I was worried that the magic the trailer had binded me with would wear off with movie.
But happily I was mistaken. It was a sensory and emotional treat watching this amazing film. The storyline itself is not great feat but the way the story is told is amazing. Blending innocence and disappointment, courage and imagination set in wondrous landscapes (yes, it is a weird blend) Tarsem has created a film like no other.
This is not a movie to watch with the eye of a critic but one to enjoy with the imagination of a child. This is one film that shows what stories are meant to do, what movies should look like. I will not go into the story, or characters blah blah.. Watch the trailer and let movie magic take over!
