How Does it Work?

Reviewers will be assigned movies or cast profiles to maintain and they will get a share of the revenue generated from that page. Revenue is generated by affiliate links; i.e. if somebody clicks a link on a review page and buys something from one of Movie Review Guru’s partners, a percentage of the sale is given to Movie Review Guru. This income is split between Movie Review Guru and the user who maintains the content based on the tiers below.

Level 1 Reviewers maintains up to 10 Quality Articles and are rewarded with 5% of revenue from content maintained by Reviewer

Level 2 Reviewers maintains up to 20 Quality Articles and are rewarded with 10% of revenue from content maintained by Reviewer

Level 3 Reviewers maintains up to 30 Quality Articles and are rewarded with 15% of revenue from content maintained by Reviewer

Level 4 Reviewers maintains up to 40 Quality Articles and are rewarded with 20% of revenue from content maintained by Reviewer

Level 5 Reviewers maintains up to 50 Quality Articles and are rewarded with 25% of revenue from content maintained by Reviewer

Level 6 Reviewers maintains up to 60 Quality Articles and are rewarded with 30% of revenue from content maintained by Reviewer

Level 7 Reviewers maintains up to 70 Quality Articles and are rewarded with 35% of revenue from content maintained by Reviewer

Level 8 Reviewers maintains up to 80 Quality Articles and are rewarded with 40% of revenue from content maintained by Reviewer

Level 9 Reviewers maintains up to 90 Quality Articles and are rewarded with 45% of revenue from content maintained by Reviewer

Level 10 Reviewers maintains up to 100 Quality Articles and are rewarded with 50% of revenue from content maintained by Reviewer

Can I choose the movies and actor profiles I want to maintain?
Multiple articles concerning the same subject will cause confusion for the readers and reviewers. So the articles will be assigned to reviewers based on equal opportunity turns. In certain cases, articles may be assigned to reviewers based on their writing style, area of specialty or experience. If you wish to maintain a certain niche (eg. all movies by Charlie Chaplin) you can let us know and we can come to an arrangement based on what you are passionate about.

What is the format for a review?
Each review will have a synopsis followed by a brief review. To see samples of reviews just browse the site.

Does the review have to be original?
Yes all reviews have to original material.

Can I insert my own ads into the reviews?
The advertising part is handled by the team at Movie Review Guru, this is to avoid any disputes and to be fair. You will be provided clear reports as to how your reviews are performing.

How do I get my assignments?
You will be required let us know your commitment level ( 1 review per week, 10 reviews per month etc…). Based on your commitment level you will receive assignments for the month ahead via email. You can also let us know if you want to focus on a certain niche and we can guide you along the lines.

How much money can I expect?
This is not a get rich scheme, and is meant only to provide a positive outlet to our passion for movies. The amount of income generated will depend upon a number of factors including the subject covered, current search trends and style of writing.

Will I get transparent reporting on my statistics?
Absolutely, All reporting is done by our Movie Review Guru’s partners and will be transparent and up to date.
